Contact lenses

Contact lenses are used to correct vision or for aesthetic purposes.

They are placed directly on the cornea of the eye and made of different materials.

Contact lenses are corrective, aesthetic, or therapeutic lenses made of gel or plastic which serve the same purpose as eye glasses do.

However, contact lenses are placed directly onto the cornea of the eye. They are commonly colorless and not visible, although those used for aesthetic purposes change the color or appearance of the eyes.
